Proof of concept
The aim of the project is to research and develop technologies that will enable a group of Basque companies covering the whole value chain of the energy management process (aggregator, recharge manager, communications operator, electronic equipment manufacturers, software developers...) to position themselves to provide new electricity supply services in a scenario where consumers take control of their electricity supply, produce their energy locally in a renewable, transparent and secure way, and facilitate the exchange of surplus energy between them through virtual aggregation mechanisms.

| Scope and objectives | The AIGeCo project has demonstrated the application that the Blockchain technology can have beyond cryptosystems and, in this case, in the energy sector. Through collaboration, a project has been developed where a system has been built that integrates several technologies, among which we have Blockchain.
